​First off, thank you again. The demand you showed brought our servers to their knees, and that overwhelming response is forcing us to make a big, necessary upgrade—much sooner than expected.

​Heads Up: Things are Going to Suck for a Little Bit

​We are upgrading our entire infrastructure to a powerful new system that allows our backend to auto-scale (grow and shrink automatically based on how many people are using the site). Think of it like a digital rubber band: when 1,000 of you show up at once, the system instantly stretches to handle the load.

​We anticipated having to do this closer to November or December, but the demand for Havven is such a good problem to have that we have to react now!

​What This Means for You (The Unavoidable Chaos)

​While we switch to this new, super-flexible system, the site will go down and come back up sporadically over the next week. The system needs to build itself up and out in real-time, and that takes some time.

​We know this process is going to suck hard (pun absolutely intended), but it is a vital step to ensure the future of Havven and give you the flawless functionality you deserve. Please bear with us this next week.

​Your Mission: Post Like Crazy!

​When the site is up and live, we need your help to test this new system. We need you to post like crazy—upload content, send DMs, create events, and generally use the app as much as possible. This is the only way to ensure the new autoscaling system builds out and optimizes accurately.
